  Excellent food, excellent service. I ate every bite of my Reuben sandwich and was looking fir one more bite, it was that good. The waitress said, "Stay as long as you'd like!" I start contrast to my review of the day before at a local café near my home. The flavor was unmatched. The inside of the sand which was hot and melty and the bread was warm and perfectly fried. The potato soup was homemade and wow. I'm a fan. Wish I lived locally. Nice job calico Cafe! Nice job.

  I have two stars mostly for presentation of the space. It's cute and well decorated. The service was not good. Our server could barely answer questions we had, and they were not complicated questions. What kind of coffee are you brewing? "Black" The food was only ok. Everything has onions. So many onions. I would not go here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

  The staff was really nice but the service was VERY slow. Had to ask for utensils multiple times as well as the check.
  
  I have a rueben and side salad. The side salad was actually better than expected since they had significantly more vegetables that most restaurants would. The sandwich was average at best. The meat was a little dry and far too much dressing was used.
  
  They are really nice and might give them another shot of back in the area but the first impression left much to be desired.

  The menu had many good things. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my meal. Sandwich selections could be purchased in whole or half.

  A great soup is featured daily as well as a good selection of sandwiches, wraps, and desserts. They also have very large, fresh romaine salads.
